Swanmore College Lockdown Enrichment Activities Week 2 (22 – 26 February)

Thank you to all of those pupils who have continued to send in entries for this week’s Enrichment Booklet Challenge Competition. As always, our pupils have really embraced the idea of trying new things, taking on a challenge and have achieved and made things that are above and beyond our expectations. This can be seen by the achievements of our pupils as shown in the pictures below.

Congratulations this week go to the following four pupils.

Mila G (7R10) has taken this weeks first prize for her efforts in the kitchen where she has made an incredible Sushi dish from scratch for the first time, well done.

Hannah M (9R6) and Joel S (8R1) have taken joint second place. Hannah for her artistic representation of the Eiffel Tower using different materials to create a stunning final piece and Joel for his Historical egg figure of Leo Major, a Canadian soldier who fought in D-day led the liberation of the Dutch town of Zwolle.

In third place is Kyelan G (7R2) for his model building skills and creativity. Well done to all of our winners, we can’t wait to see what gets sent in next week to follow this.

If you have completed any of the challenges set by your teachers and you would like to share the outcome with us please send us a photo, video or audio clip to [email protected] and you will be entered into next weeks competition. Thank you for all of the hard work and effort that so many have put into this enrichment challenge so far. Well done, have fun and keep up the good work.

Kind regards,

Mr Mosley (Assistant Headteacher)
