Hours

32 hours per week Monday 8.30am to 4pm and Tuesday to Friday 8.30am to 3.15pm.  Term Time only (39 weeks).

Salary

HCC Grade B FTE £18,562 – £18,877 Actual £13,732.56 – £13,965.60

Description

Required as soon as possible to work as a member of this dynamic Learning Support Team providing support for pupils in and out of the classroom with a variety of Special Educational Needs.  Adaptability is essential as is the ability to relate well to both pupils and teachers. Knowledge and experience of raising literacy levels and developing resources would be an advantage; however enthusiasm and energy are the priority to join this forward looking team, along with having an SEN specialism.

A desire to make a difference will be equally valued along with life experience and a good sense of humour.

We would be very happy to accept applications from individuals who are considering entering a career in teaching in September 2022, or beyond.  A Teaching Assistant post is a rewarding profession that gives great insight to school life for prospective teachers.  As the lead school for The Rural Schools Alliance Teaching School, we are perfectly placed to provide development opportunities to ensure a successful Teacher Training application.

A comprehensive induction programme is in place and training is always on going.
