Transport

School transport is provided by Hampshire County Council providing you live in the catchment area more than three miles from college or are eligible for additional assistance due to low income within the family.

Seats on these routes are allocated by HCC Passenger Transport. For further information on eligibility and the link to the application portal, please follow the link below: 

Applications should be made in good time to ensure receipt of bus pass before the start of term in September.

If spare seats are available, you may be able to purchase a Privilege Pass if you live over three miles from college. Please contact HCC Passenger Transport for further information.

Public Buses

Swanmore College is served by Stagecoach public buses. The schedules are subject to change and arrival at/departure from the college at the required times, cannot be guaranteed.

Passes are purchased directly from Portsmouth City Coaches.

 The cost of a termly pass is £395.00 per pupil.

No daily or weekly bus tickets are available.

To purchase your pass please email your child’s name, a suitable photo (as per passport, digital image fine) and the stop where your child wishes to join the bus to: schools@portsmouthcitycoaches.co.uk

Payments can be made by phone, bank transfer, cleared cheque or cash in person.

Please note, this is a private arrangement with Portsmouth City Coaches. Pupils who live outside the catchment area are responsible for their own transport arrangements as this service is not guaranteed and may be subject to change at any time.


All buses leave the College at 3.10 pm


After College Clubs Bus - FREE

We are very pleased to provide an After Clubs Bus on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. The bus leaves the College at 4:40 pm and covers Bishops Waltham, Corhampton, Meonstoke, Droxford, Wickham, Knowle, Curdridge & Whiteley.  This service is FREE.
