Gold Rights Respecting Schools Award

Image shows a gold medal and say We are a UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting School. Children's rights are learned, understood and lived in this school.

We're thrilled to announce that Swanmore College has achieved the prestigious UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting Schools Award!

This award recognises our commitment to putting children's rights at the heart of everything we do. It's a testament to the hard work and dedication of our pupils, staff, and the wider community.

What does it mean to be a Rights Respecting School?

A Rights Respecting School is a community where children's rights are learnt, taught, practised, respected, protected, and promoted. We've been working towards this goal for the past year, building on our previous Silver Award.

A Team Effort

The achievement reflects the collective efforts of our entire school community. From pupils and staff to parents and governors, everyone has played a vital role in creating an environment where children's rights are not just acknowledged but actively celebrated.

Well done and thank you to all of the pupils, parents, governors and staff who have supported us in our journey to attaining gold!
