This programme supports secondary school students to obtain free work experiences in the world of medicine and dentistry. Virtual work experiences have been accepted by the Medical Schools and Dental Schools Council as valuable alternatives to in-person shadowing. This programme is brought to you by Birmingham Universities Hospitals Trust in collaboration with Medic Mentor, and it is completely free.

It is suitable for pupils aged 14+ and can be added to Unifrog as a virtual work experience via the placements tool. It is not meant to replace the in-person work experience programme for year 10 but rather complement this.
