Equipment
These are items that a pupil will need across the curriculum. Owning, and bringing these items into school each day, will limit the opportunity for pupils to touch and therefore need to clean, shared equipment.
If you are in receipt of Pupil Premium we will be able to offer support with the purchase of equipment and we will contact you separately.

A Calculator
The latest Casio Classwiz Calculators are available to purchase on Scopay.
A calculator must have the same buttons as the one in image below as pupils find that a calculator that display fractions as fractions is easier to use.
Aprons for Technology subjects
With the current situation, pupils will not be able to use a department apron unless it has been washed prior to use. This will not be possible with the number of classes we have in a day and the number of aprons the department has.
We are therefore asking parents to provide their child with an apron of their own. Although these aren’t required to undertake practical, they help to protect school uniform from damage and are therefore highly recommended.
Requirements:
- Year 7, 8 and 9 – These pupils will need an apron that is suitable to be used in a Food Room and a Workshop. We recommend a simple tie up apron, preferably without a pocket as this tends to catch dirt etc.
- Year 10 and 11 GCSE Classes – These pupils will also need an apron, but may wish to get an apron that is more tailored to their chosen material area.
Aprons will need to be taken home and washed after they have been used.
