Communications
Please note that the best way to contact staff members is via their dedicated email addresses, which can be found on the website: Contact - Swanmore College (swanmore-school.co.uk)
We aim to respond to you promptly and wherever possible, within 2 working days, with a view to action your request within 5 working days. Our phone lines are very busy and teaching staff only have voicemail extensions, so email is the best method of contact for all non-urgent queries.
Parking
We have been asked to remind you about careful parking when dropping and collecting your children. We would ask that you allow local residents to exit their driveways and do not park in unsafe places. Please be advised that Rule 243 of the highway code states that vehicles should not stop or park:
- anywhere you would prevent access for Emergency Services
- opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space
- in front of an entrance to a property
- on a bend
To do so is to endanger the lives of our pupils, who sometimes have to walk in the middle of a busy country road to walk around the parked cars, as there is no pavement. Please consider this when choosing where to park.
Ghana Information Evening - Time Change
Please note that the Ghana Information Evening that is taking place on Thursday 8 February 2024 will begin at 6pm in the main hall and not at 6.30pm as previously advised. This is for any Year 7 & 8 pupils and parents/carers who are interested in finding out more about the trip we are running in July 2025.
SIMS Parent App
If you are having any problems logging into the SIMS Parent App, please see the guidance on our website: https://swanmore-school.co.uk/swanmore-sims-parent-app/
If you have tried everything as directed on this page (including trying the browser version), please e-mail sims-parent-help@swanmore-sec.hants.sch.uk giving as much detail as possible on the error and we will look into it.
