Future Energy Landscapes Workshop

Please see attached details of a Future Energy Landscapes workshop being held at Swanmore Village Hall at 10am on Saturday, 25 January 2025. The event is to explore the possibilities of a community renewable energy project in the Swanmore and/or Shedfield parishes. The event is free, it will be run by Energise South Downs, a non-profit community energy organisation, and is an opportunity to bring people together for a structured session including group discussions about what might be feasible and acceptable in our part of the world. Year 7

This year's virtual Parents' Evening meetings for Year 7 will be taking place on Thursday 30 January and Monday 3 February between 4.00pm and 7.30pm. Year 9

We would like to remind you that we are holding a Year 9 Options Evening on Monday 20 January 2025 from 5.00pm - 7.00pm. Option choices must be made online using the SIMs Parent App or SIMs Parent Website. The options selection process will open on Monday 20 January 2025. All option choices must be made by Friday 21 March 2025, in order that we can plan resources and timetables for September. Year 11

The Sports Department at Barton Peveril college are hosting a Basketball Information Evening on Monday 20 January (7-8pm). They would like to invite basketball players to meet with coaches and staff to learn more about their basketball programme. The evening will consist of:

• A presentation
• A tour of facilities
• A Q&A session

This is an opportunity for players to learn more about the pathways, player development, partnerships within the area, overseas trips, and integration into college life that the program offers.
