Important Reminder: Reporting Your Child's Absence

At Swanmore College, the wellbeing and safety of our pupils is of paramount importance. To ensure we maintain accurate attendance records and can promptly address any unexpected absences, we kindly remind you of the procedures for reporting absences, which can be found here: Swanmore School - Absence Reporting

Lost Property

We would like to remind you that we have many items of unnamed lost property at pupil reception including coats, shoes, uniform and water bottles. If your child has lost something, please ask them to come and look through the lost property in pupil reception. Anything not claimed by half-term will be donated, as we do not have room to store it all in school. Please ensure all your child's belongings are named so we can return anything that gets lost directly to them.

Year 7

There are no specific items for Year 7 only.

Year 8

Any Year 8 pupils who are undertaking the Bronze Arts Award are invited to attend a trip to the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton, to see Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat on Wednesday 14 May 2025. This is an evening performance, so pupils will need to arrange their own transport. The deadline for return of contracts and payment has been extended to Thursday, 06 February 2025.

Year 9

Please check your emails for details of an exciting trip to Bletchley Park, the historical site of codebreaking by Alan Turing and a vast team during World War II. This trip is taking place on Friday 9 May 2025 and will be of particular interest to any pupils interested in Maths, Computing or History. The deadline for return of contracts and payment is this Friday, 07 February 2025.

Year 10

There are no specific items for Year 10 only.

Year 11

The deadline for applying to Barton Peveril for a college place in September 2025 is Friday, 14 February 2025. Any pupils who are interested in applying to the college must make sure that their applications are submitted by this date. They will not accept any late applications!
