Year 9 & 10 DofE Meeting

We would like to invite all DofE participants and parents/carers to an information session regarding kit for the upcoming expeditions. This session will be run from 1600-1700hrs on Monday 20 January 2025 in W01 (this is the same night as the Y9 Options Evening, which starts at 1700hrs).

This is an opportunity for you to look at and try on rucksacks etc and ask any questions you may have about kit, best places to buy, what to look for etc. We would like to add that we have access to a company that supplies rucksacks with a system that caters for smaller pupils, allowing to have properly fitted rucksacks. Extra-Curricular Clubs

We would like to remind you that we have lots of clubs available to pupils before, during and after school. Full details of the clubs timetable for the Spring Term can be found on our website: Swanmore School - College Clubs. There is a free late bus service in operation which departs from the bus lane at 4.40pm every Tuesday to Friday.

Year 10

Details of the Year 10 work experience programme have been launched this week. Work experience will take place from 14-22 July 2025. Year 10 pupils have had an assembly to explain the process to them and have all been sent a login for Unifrog. An email has also been sent to parents/carers. Year 11

The final set of Year 11 mock exams commence tomorrow, Friday 10 January and run until Thursday 30 January 2025. The full exam timetable is available on the website: Swanmore School - Exams

Military Prep College Southampton will be holding Keep in Touch / Engagement Days for Year 11 students in 2025. Although the provision is aimed at those looking for careers in the Military, they also cover Uniformed Public Services and as most of the syllabus is Life Skills, it is transferable to all walks of life. The key dates for Year 11 are as follows:
