All Pupils

Last Day of Term

Swanmore College will close early on the last day of term, Friday 20 December 2024 at 12.40 pm. Our transport operators have been informed and will be on site to collect pupils at this time. Please note that any pupils who travel on the 649 Stagecoach public bus service will need to make alternative arrangements for getting home early, as Stagecoach are unable to amend the collection time from 3.00 pm to 12.40 pm.

Enrichment Options – Spring 2025

Further to our communication last week, please could we remind you to select your child’s enrichment options for next term via the School Buddy app before 09:00 on Monday 09 December 2024. The booklet for next terms activities can be found here: Swanmore School - Enrichment. Once you have submitted your choices, you will receive a selection confirmation email. Reporting Absence & Injuries

Please could we remind you to report all absences and inform us of any appointments via the ClassCharts app by 8am each morning. You can add comments about early collections and upload evidence of appointments via the app, but please can we ask you not to send photos of pupils or their injuries. If a pupil is injured and has been to hospital, please do not send them back to school without informing us and completing the necessary paperwork. Year 7

There are no specific items for Year 7 only.

Year 8 & 9

Following our previous communication regarding the 2026 Iceland trip, we would like to remind any pupils in Years 8 and 9 who would still like to apply for a place on the geography trip to Iceland in April 2026, that the closing date for forms and deposits is tomorrow, Wednesday 4 December 2024.

Year 10 & 11

SHCG T Level Parents Information Evenings

South Hampshire College Group are hosting T Level Information Evenings for parents/carers, school staff and students in years 10/11 to learn about T Levels. Please see dates and times below:

CEMAST & CETC – Wednesday 5 February 17:30 – 18:30 

Fareham College – Thursday 6 February 17:30 – 19:00 

Eastleigh College – Wednesday 12 February 17:30 – 19:00 

Southampton College – Thursday 13 February 17:30 – 19:00 

At each college, there will be an introductory presentation from the Vice Principal followed by a tour from Curriculum Directors and Lecturers. They will present details of T Level courses in different subject areas with information on work experience, structure, highlights and possible progression routes.
