All Pupils

Bus Travel

If your child travels on Hampshire County Transport, please ensure that they always have their bus pass with them. Travel is subject to spot checks and any child without a bus pass may be refused travel. We would remind you that only pupils in possession of a bus pass are permitted to travel on Hampshire County Transport and are only entitled to travel on their allocated bus. There is no allowance or space for them to ‘take friends home for tea’! If you have any concerns about your child’s travel to and from the College, please contact Passenger Transport via the Customer Contact Form: Hampshire County Council - School Transport Enquiry.

Learning Hub Notifications

If your child has been sent to the Learning Hub, you will no longer receive an email from the staff member explaining why they sent your child to the Learning Hub. This information will now be available on ClassCharts. If you have any questions or need further detail, you can email the subject teacher or relevant member of staff by using the department email addresses, as found on our website here:  Swanmore School - Contact us

Jumpers

A reminder to you all that the black, V-neck jumper is a compulsory part of our uniform from now until the end of the spring term.

Christmas Lunch Orders

The deadline for ordering a Christmas Lunch is tomorrow, Wednesday 6 November 2024. The Christmas lunch celebrations will be taking place during the last week of term. The 2-course lunch and drink costs £5.50 and can be booked and paid for via Scopay or by returning the contract and payment to pupil reception (as emailed again yesterday to all parents/carers).

An Evening with the Arts

Our winter performance of ‘An Evening with the Arts’ is taking place on Thursday 12 December 2024 at 7pm in the main hall. Tickets are now available to purchase via Scopay, priced at £6 adult and £3.50 child. This event will include performances by pupils from all our Music, Dance and Drama clubs, as well as the Active 360 Hip Hop enrichment group. Please do come along and support our amazing and talented performers this festive season!

Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2024

Swanmore College is delighted to be supporting the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal again this year. Every item sold helps us to support the British Armed Forces past and present, and their families. We hope that pupils will give generously and wear a poppy with pride. We have several items available to cater for all tastes and ask that pupils bring a little cash donation in if they would like to purchase any of the items in the attached image. In addition, family members can donate online should they wish to, via this link: Poppy Appeal 2024
