End of Term Arrangements

We have amended the arrangements for Christmas Lunches, so that pupils are having their Christmas lunch on the same day as their celebration assembly, the running order is now as below:

Monday – Year 11

Tuesday – Year 10

Wednesday – Year 9

Thursday – Year 8

Friday – Year 7 (will have their lunch during period 4)

Pupils are encouraged to wear something ‘Christmassy’ on Friday 20 December 2024. This is not a non-uniform day; pupils are still expected to wear their normal College uniform with a token Christmas gesture. This might be one of the following:

• a jumper
• earrings
• a hat
• socks
• a piece of tinsel

Friday 20 December 2024 will be an early finish with pupils leaving site at 12:40pm. Our transport operators have been informed and will be on site to collect pupils at this time. Please note that any pupils who travel on the 649 Stagecoach public bus service will need to make alternative arrangements for getting home early, as Stagecoach are unable to amend the collection time from 3.00 pm to 12.40 pm.

Enrichment Options – Spring 2025

Please be reminded that you must select your child’s enrichment options for next term via the School Buddy app by 9:00am on Monday 09 December 2024. The booklet for next terms activities can be found here: Swanmore School - Enrichment. Once you have submitted your choices, you will receive a selection confirmation email. Containers Needed for Art Department

If you have any empty take away tubs, newspapers and screw top containers at home, please consider donating these to the art department as they will gladly re-use them. You can drop these off at visitor reception, or pupils can take them to R01. Please see attached some photos of the type of containers that are needed.

Nasal Flu Vaccine

Flu vaccines were administered in school this week by the School Age Immunisation Service. If your child missed the session but you would still like them to have the vaccine, the system has now reopened, and you can submit a consent form. The nursing team will then be in touch to invite you to a community clinic.
