An Evening with the Arts – Thursday 12 December 2024

Our winter performance of An Evening with the Arts is taking place at 7pm on Thursday, 12 December 2024. Tickets for this event are now sold out and have been taken off sale. If you have purchased tickets that you no longer require, please contact the Finance Office: finance@swanmore-sec.hants.sch.uk so they can arrange for them to be re-sold, as all tickets are non-transferable and we do have a waitlist.

Please note that refreshments will be available to purchase on Thursday evening prior to the performance and during the interval but we can only accept cash payments for these.

Year 7, 8 and 9 Reports – SIMS Parent App

Academic reports for all pupils in Year 7, 8 and 9 will be released via the SIMS Parent App on Monday, 16 December 2024. The Parent App requires you to reset your password every 90 days. We are aware of issues around this on the app version. If you are experiencing issues on the app, please use the browser version on a PC or laptop. This can be accessed here: https://www.sims-parent.co.uk/

1st Swanmore Scout Group – Helpers Needed

1st Swanmore Scout Troop are looking for leaders to join their team. The group meet on a Monday from 1830-2000 and need willing volunteers to help with the running of the section meetings - inspiring, encouraging and teaching skills for life to young people (aged 10.5 – 14 years). They’re also looking for people who can help behind the scenes, assisting with creating a brilliant programme and offering admin support. Please see attached flyer for more details. Year 7

On Wednesday 11 December all Year 7 pupils will be off timetable during period 1 and 2 to compete in our annual ‘Year 7 Christmas poetry festival.’ This is hosted by the English department and takes place in the main hall. Each Year 7 English class has learnt a piece of poetry by heart and will perform this to the rest of the year group. It is a fun, festive themed event with prizes for the best performances.
