ClassCharts

We hope that you and your child have successfully downloaded the app and logged into ClassCharts. Absences

From Monday 9 September 2024 we would like all absences to be reported through ClassCharts - please see attached for details of how to do this. The current absence email addresses will still be available to report absences until Friday 20 September 2024, whilst you get use to using ClassCharts, but will be closed at that point.

Clubs

Please see attached details of the PE Clubs that will be running during the Autumn term. These clubs will commence next week. Art clubs will also be running this term as follows:

KS3 Art Club: The first art club session of this year will take place on Thursday 26 September 2024.

Year 7 pupils are welcome to join, and Year 8 & 9 pupils are welcome to return.

There is no need to sign up. This club takes place on Thursdays in R02 from 3.10 to 4.10pm.

KS4 GCSE Art & Photography 'drop in': These sessions are available from this week. R01 will be open on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm to 4.10pm, however, please note that the first Thursday session will be on 26 September 2024.

A full list of all extracurricular clubs will be published next week.

New Road & Side Road Parking

We would ask that you be respectful of our neighbours when parking on New Road and local side roads please. Driveways should be left clear so that occupants can enter and exit their own property. We have received some complaints and would be grateful for your consideration when delivering and collecting your children. Please use the designated car parks around the village whenever possible and encourage your children to walk to/from there.

Top Marks Football Coaching

Please see attached details of some local football coaching sessions that are being run by Top Marks Football Coaching. These sessions are due to commence the week beginning 23 September 2024, however spaces are limited. Their contact details can be found on the attached poster.

Year 7

Reminder that this evening, Thursday 5 September 2024, parents/carers of Year 7 pupils are invited to a 'Meet the Tutor' event from 4.00 - 5.30 pm at Swanmore College.  The timetable for the evening is as follows:

Parents of children with surnames A - K
4.00 pm - 4.30 pm - Information meeting in the Main Hall.

4.30 pm - 5.00 pm - Information meeting in tutor bases with tutor & Opportunity for Q&A.

Parents of children with surnames L - Z
4.00 pm - 4.30 pm - Information meeting in tutor bases with tutor & Opportunity for Q&A.

4.30 pm - 5.00 pm - Information meeting in the Main Hall.

Year 11

This year's first virtual Parents' Evening for Year 11 pupils will take place on Thursday, 12 September 2024, between 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm. The booking system is now open, so please book your appointments via: swanmorecollege.schoolcloud.co.uk. Your child's report with the outcomes from the summer mock examinations will be issued on Monday, 09 September 2024 via the SIMS app.
