Absence Reporting

At Swanmore College, the wellbeing and safety of our pupils is of paramount importance. To ensure we maintain accurate attendance records and can promptly address any unexpected absences, we would like to remind you of our procedures for reporting any kind of absence. Please see the attached information for details of how to let us know if your child will not be attending school. Parent Forum - SEN Rewards

We will be hosting our first Parent Forum for this academic year on Tuesday 26 November 2024. The focus of this first Forum will be looking at the recognition and rewards system for our pupils with additional needs (SEND). The forum will run from 5-6:30pm in SO1. KS4 Art/Photography Club Cancelled – Wednesday 20 November 2024

Unfortunately, we are short-staffed in the art department tomorrow, Wednesday 20 November, so can’t host the usual KS4 Art/Photography after-school club in R01. We will be open as usual after school on Thursday 21 November. Apologies for any inconvenience this causes.

Parent View Survey

We would like to remind you that the Parent View Survey will be closing at the end of the day this Friday, 22 November 2024. This is your opportunity to share your views about the College and should only take around 10 minutes to complete.

Flu Vaccinations - 2 & 3 December 2024

Reminder that the immunisation team are visiting Swanmore College on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 December to administer flu vaccines for all Year groups. Year 7

Quantum Theatre will be coming to Swanmore College on Tuesday 3 December 2024, to perform A Christmas Carol based on the classic by Charles Dickens. All Year 7 pupils will be watching the performance in the school’s main hall between 1:30pm and 2:50pm.  We hope that this performance will help to consolidate the pupils’ knowledge of the text, which they have been studying since they joined us in September. We also feel that this is a wonderful way to end the term, and a well-deserved Christmas treat for all their hard work in English. We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £3.50 for this theatre performance. Payment and consent should be made online via www.scopay.com by Friday 29 November please.
