KS4 Dance

Year Long Term Objective: Pupils will become skilled and confident performers. They will be developed and hardened dancers with experience in a wide range of styles and choreographic practices. Pupils will be reflective in their writing and be able to produce detailed and accurate documents that a professional in the field will need (risk assessments, rehearsal plans, rehearsal logs and Dance planning. Pupils will finish their course ready to progress at post 16 level.

Medium Term Objective: Pupils will develop their practical and theoretical skills in order to complete set assessments from the examination board.

Medium Term Objective: Pupils explore a range of styles and choreographic appraoches in order to complete their final external assessment. For their external assessment they will work as an esemble Dance company while also completing in depth and relevent documents that support their process.
